Flood Disaster Resilience Training

Help flood-affected communities rebuild their emotional strength with expert-led mental health training.

In Malaysia, where floods frequently occur, first responders often lack the mental health first aid capabilities needed to effectively support affected individuals during these critical times. This gap in training hinders their ability to provide comprehensive care and emotional support to flood victims.

SAPOT provides specialized training, "Flood Disaster Relief Training" for diverse groups of first responders, which includes the affected communities, educators, community leaders, youth, and students.

Our training program equips participants with the skills needed to offer mental health first aid, including activities such as Mental Health First Aid Training, Peer Support & Trauma Response Workshops, Resilience & Coping Strategies Sessions, Simulation Exercises, and Data & Impact Assessments. This preparation is crucial for effective disaster response and recovery.
